Sanja Sisovic
Sanja Sisovic is a public health expert, advocate, and activist. She is program director of NGO CAZAS and she is based in Podgorica, Montenegro but has more than 10 years of international work experience in public health. She is dedicated towards developing and implementing programs that involve and engage youth in health and wellbeing of young people, through promotion of healthy lifestyles and prevention of non-communicable diseases, including mental health and environmental health. She has more than 13 years of experience in the field of public health internationally, involvement in more than 90 international health events in last five years and close cooperation and networking with key health actors. Health equity, international youth work and activism dedicated to health and wellbeing of youth are her professional passion.
Alcohol prevention, treatment and policy is her major field of interest and in Montenegro she has led some of most important processes in the area such as establishment of community based treatment support program, development of National alcohol program but also taxation and other alcohol policy reforms.
