FILTERED Capacity Building on Pro-health Taxes

4-6 June 2025, Sofia, Bulgaria

This event aims to equip participants – civil society representatives, decision-makers, journalists and other relevant stakeholders – with the knowledge and tools necessary to advocate for pro-health taxes (on alcohol, tobacco, and unhealthy food and drinks), which are among the most cost-effective policy measures for addressing NCDs at the population level.

This capacity building initiative is part of the FILTERED project and is organized by the Smoke Free Partnership (SFP) in close collaboration with the Filtered Consortium Partners: European Alcohol Policy AllianceEuropean Heart NetworkYouth Health OrganisationUkrainian Coalition for Reproductive Health and Family PlanningCenter Life

Eligibility

Due to limited capacity, only a select number of participants will be accepted, based on the information provided in the application form. A limited number of travel and accommodation grants are also available for participants from EU Member States, Iceland, Norway, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Montenegro, and Ukraine.
