Conference Youth Scholarships: Call for Applications

The FILTERED consortium of partners is offering 20 young enthusiasts a scholarship that fully covers all expenses for the conference "Challenging Big Industry Narratives: Alcohol, Tobacco, Unhealthy Food and Drinks: Population Measures and Policies". The conference will take place between 27th and 28th of June 2024 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Recognising the importance of youth representation in this event, the International Youth Health Organisation is arranging a dedicated youth event on June 29th. Those awarded the scholarship are expected to participate fully in the conference, as well as attending the youth event afterwards. The conference aims to provide a platform for policymakers, advocates, researchers, patients, youth, and health practitioners to collectively address the challenges of reducing non-communicable diseases (NCDs) by effectively managing their main risk factors.

What does the scholarship includes?: Travel budget, event fees, as well as food and accommodation.
How many scholarship are available?: A maximum number of 20 scholarships will be granted.
What are the elegibility requirements?:

Preferably to be under 35 years of age
Have high interest in the topic
Have full availability during the dates of the conference
Studying/living/working in one of the following countries: Member States of the European Union, Norway, Ukraine, Moldova, Montenegro and Iceland.
Recommended: Be a part of any organisation within the FILTERED consortium of partners (European Alcohol Policy Alliance, Smoke Free Partnership, European Heart Network, International Youth Health Organisation, Ukrainian Coalition for Reproductive Health and Family Planning, Advocacy Center Life from Ukraine).
