Erin Hobin

Dr. Erin Hobin is a Senior Scientist at Public Health Ontario and an Associate Professor (status-only) at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. She earned her Ph.D. in Health Studies from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Toronto. Dr. Hobin's research focuses on developing and evaluating large-scale interventions to understand their impacts on population health and health equity. Her expertise includes population health intervention research, food, alcohol, and cannabis policy, and health promotion. She collaborates with policymakers and practitioners to develop research projects that align with the needs of knowledge users.
