Norwegian research shows high level of serving alcohol to inebriated customers

Eighty-three attempts to buy alcohol (93 %) were successful, and only six attempts (7 %) were refused.


A change in bar closing time with 1 hour leads to a 17% decrease in violence

The Norwegian Institute for Alcohol and Drug Research presents findings and conclusions from research on the relation between bar closing hours and violence.


FASE: Focus on Alcohol Safe Environment

FASE project aims to collect best practices in work-place strategies to reduce the impact of harmful and hazardous alcohol consumption on the economy as well as best practices on well-resourced community mobilisation and intervention projects to create safer drinking environments, and to develop best practice in advertising, self regulation and monitoring.
