Written question on Interim review of wine market reform by Ulrike Rodust (S&D)
29 November 2010. The EU wine market underwent reform in 2008. The Commission is to produce a report by no later than the end of 2012 setting out the experience gained with the implementation of the reform. To date no interim review of the reform of the wine market has been submitted.
On 17 November 2010 the Commission is due to submit its Communication on the future of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), which will have a bearing on the wine sector. It would therefore seem necessary to produce an interim review of the reform of the wine market beforehand.
1. Has an initial interim review of the 2008 reform of the wine market already been produced?´
2. Does the Commission have plans to submit an interim review prior to the publication of the Communication concerning the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy?
3. When does the Commission plan to submit its interim review?
