| Work plan
| The activities can be summarized in two parts: On the one hand, the German partners will collect two examples of good practice for the case studies analysis. The testing of the collected measures will take place in five firms, beginning in March 2012. On the other hand, we will share the results of the project on national level and translate the products – the tool kit and the recommended proceedings - into German language in order to increase the usability.

Cases studies
| Case 1. The Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development (Bundesministerium für Verkehr, Bau und Stadtentwicklung, BMVBS) is a public type of company with about 1.600 employees. The Alcohol practice provision is realized by an external service, the Berlin Centre for Drug Prevention (Fachstelle für Suchtprävention im Land Berlin). The programme is called “Prev@work” and consists of several modules. Target groups are the management, instructors and especially apprentices. According to the setting-based approach, the target groups are trained and educated in several workshops about alcohol and workplace. The evaluation gives a positive feedback of the measures. Case 2. Audi group is a German automobile manufacturer and one of the world’s leading carmakers in the premium and supercar segments. Audi has seven manufacturing plants around the world and employed 58,011 people on average over the year in 2009. The alcohol practice provision is done by an internal service in cooperation with external help organisations. The prevention program “Alcohol & Drugs” is an integrated component of the Audi health-management policy. It contains risk prevention, harm reduction and consistent support of people concerned. The prevention strategy contains behavioural and structural prevention and is a permanent measure/offer. Target groups are disseminators/information multipliers, all staff members, line manager, supervisors and apprentices.
